Are you looking for an exciting opportunity with a leading, world-wide brand?Are you a time served engineer with Quality Inspection experience?How about joining an organisation which uses the latest, most innovative manufacturing techniques, machinery and equipment?Busch is recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their manufacturing facility in Crewe.Busch supplies solutions and service for vacuum pumps and overpressure applications with six manufacturing plants worldwide and a total of 60 Busch companies serving users of vacuum pumps and systems throughout the world.Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen at our Crewe Manufacturing Facility for a Time Served Quality Inspector to work within our Quality Department, checking components for Vacuum pumps and other pumps within the company's product range.Duties will include:Audit / inspect goods coming into the company, castings etc. and report any issues at once to Quality, Purchasing and ProductionAudit work in progress and reporting any issues directly to quality / ProductionCarry out final audit inspection of finished pumps and packagesRaise NCR's as and when requiredProcess audit and report on any changes that may need to be made to SOP'sSupport with and promote 5S within the workshopAdditional Salary Info: 25 days holiday plus statutory, matched contribution pensionQuality Inspector | Quality Technician | Quality Control | Goods in Inspector | Quality Engineer Essential Criteria:The ability to competently use all Microsoft applications specifically Word and ExcelEngineering apprenticeship achieving an NVQ 2 or aboveHave experience of working in a production environmentBe able to read and understand production drawingsHave an awareness of the ISO 9001 standardExperience of a quality role within a manufacturing or quality background Consistency in achieving set tasks and multi taskProviding excellent customer serviceGood understanding of drawing tolerancesCompetent in the use of hand held measuring (including Verniers, CMM, Micrometres, calipers, bore micrometres and height gauges)Attention to detailAdapting to change, willingness to learnSelf-motivation and team workingGood use of working time and planning, including attendance and punctualityExperience in root cause / problem solvingAble to demonstrate a continuous improvement and 5S mindset.Experience of first off and final inspectionChecking of raw materials / material certificates.
