Salary: CH Scale 4 (£17,995 - £21,933)
12 Months Fixed Term Contract - 35 hours per week
Housingrecruit.com is advertising for a High Rise Scheme Manager on behalf of our client a leading social housing provider based in Handforth.
Working within the Neighbourhoods Team, this role involves managing the organisation's three high rise blocks in Preston. You will be responsible for supporting their compliance obligations on the schemes by undertaking daily and weekly communal inspections, reporting repairs and undertaking other checks around the scheme.
You will be required to maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, checks and compliance reports onsite, and provide customers with accurate, up to date and relevant information. You will contribute to undertaking high-quality day to day cleaning of communal areas at the High Rise Blocks to designated specifications (including lifts, stairways, communal landings), ensure that communal gardens and green spaces are maintained effectively and undertake low-level maintenance in and around the schemes.
You will also support the Neighbourhoods Team in the day to day management of the individual properties and tenancies, and work collaboratively with partners to ensure effective management and compliance at the tower blocks (including the Fire Service, Police. Local Authority and other relevant stakeholders).
The ideal candidate will be someone with experience of delivering high levels of customer service, as you will be the first point of contact to listen to residents views or issues on the schemes. You will have necessary skills and experience of performing general cleaning and maintenance duties. Ideally, you will have knowledge of safety, compliance and fire procedures and will have experience of working independently and with colleagues as part of a team. You must have good organisational skills, the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and partner organisations. In addition, you will need basic IT and numeracy skills, be educated to GCSE standard inc Maths and English.
