Bookkeeper/Office Administrator - Part-Time

An opportunity to join a small, growing company in Cheadle/Handforth, Cheshire.  We are looking for an experienced part time Bookkeeper & Administrator to join our team.  


  • Producing and submitting VAT returns
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit Control
  • Purchase/Sales Ledger
  • Nominal Ledger reconciliations
  • Payroll via a 3rd party 
  • Management Accounts
  • General office duties including data admin, administration of the company website, filing and answering the phone
  • Photoshop knowledge preferred but not essential (a willingness to learn)

The successful candidate needs to have a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/ receivable principles.  We require someone with experience in a similar role and proficient in Sage 50 Accounts and Microsoft Office and must have good communication skills (both written and verbal).

You would be joining a small and friendly team in a business that values its employees.  We are looking for someone reliable, trustworthy and who can work from their own initiative and prioritise their workload as required. 

Hours 16-24 over 5 days per week (hours/days negotiable)
